Hello Dan, Yes if you have a Prologic PLP$ system then the GLX-PCB-Pro will be the correct board for your system

Hi Jeff, yes this board works for both the Hayward / Goldline AquaPlus as well as the ProLogic systems, so this would be the board for you.

I have a 6 year old Goldline Aqua Plus that the timer stopped working. I have to turn on the filter pump manually every day. The circuit board has PN: G1-66008N-1 on it. Do I need a new board to fix this, if so what is the part number I need to order.
Reply
Hi Larry, Yes based on your issue it is most likely a bad circuit board and this would be the corect replacement circuit board for the Hayward Goldline Aqua Plus.

I have a Aqua Logic (AQL-PS-8) which needs a new main circuit board. Can i use the glx-pcb-pro instead of the glx-pcb-main? If so, what is the advantage ("pro" costs more, so i assume there are more features)?
Reply
Hi Gabriel, The correct PCB Board that you will need for the Aqua Logic AQL-PS-8 controller would be the Aqua Logic Main PCB Board (GLX-PCB-MAIN). The GLX-PCB-PRO is not compatible with the Aqua Logic system.

Hi, I need a PCB for my Aqua Plus Automation and Chlorination system. It's model # is PL-xx-xx. The manual that came with it is for PL-Plus and PL-Plus-20. What circuit board will be compatible? Thanks, John
Reply
Hello John, the glx-pcb-pro will be the board you need. You can always call Hayward and provide them with the serial number off the unit for any part needed as well.
Reply
Hello, I have a Agua Logic control panel and is working on everything else's except the chlorinator it does not work , do I need a new Aqua logic PCB Main Circuit Board Replacement a and which is the part number?
Reply
Hi, Magdalena. The problem could be the PCB or the cell. Before purchasing any parts I would recommend troubleshooting the unit to find out where the problem is at. The replacement PCB p/n is GLXPCBMAIN.

I have a pool, installed in 2008. I have the Pro Logic Automation and Chlorination, Goldline Control, Model PL-P-4. I replaced my salt cell last year and shortly afterwards my PC Board now reads "No Cell Power 2". I believe I need to replace the PC Board within the control unit. Do you agree and what is the current part number needed to replace this board. Thanks, Bob
Reply
Hello, Yes I would agree, but before doing this I would run diagnostic with the manufacturer it the unit just needs to be recalibrated.

We had a transformer blow on us. The electric company fixed it but our pool has not gotten power since. We had an electrician come out and check it and was told that power was getting to the pool. Do you think it is a circuit board, control panel display or both? We have a Hayward Goldline Pro logic control panel with a pl-ps-4 display.
Reply
Hi Laura, I would start with this Main ProLogic PCB as this normally the part that goes bad.
Reply
I have a Hayward Aqua Plus about 8 years old I replaced the cell with a Hayward T-15 this year however at 100% clorination and pump running 24/7 it will not make enough chlorine to maintain a level when you check it. If i catch a sample at the outlet back to the pool it shows its making some cholrine. Salt level is 3100 and all tests in normal range. It is showing the voltage going to the cell on the diagnostic screen like it is working. Could the control board be bad?
Reply
Hi, Wayne. I would recommend checking the Cell Configuration setting to make sure that the correct size cell is selected. If the board is bad it will give you an error message of some sort.
Reply
I'm replacing my T-cell-3 and the instructions say the system must be 4.10 or newer, my system is 3.10, do all current cells, 3, 9, 15 require 4.10 or newer?
Do I need to replace my pcb? If so would PL 7100 work, or is that strictly aquarite?
Reply
Hi, Tom. If you currently have a TCELL3 then it should be compatible with your controller. The T-CELL-15 is the only size that can be used with the lower firmware. You will need to replace the PCB in order to get the latest firmware. The PL7100 PCB is only compatible with the AquaRite controller.
Reply
I have a Aqua plus installed Pre 2009 and was wondering what firmware was available then. Friend purchase a generic T-Cell 15 and says requires Firmware 1.50 or higher. Was wondering if would work. He replaced his system with a competitors and i was wanting to purchase if compatible. Thanks.
Reply
Hi, The TCELL15 is compatible with the AquaPlus controller.

I have the Goldline Pro Logic PL-P-4 that is stating "No Cell Power". Pull out the board, changed fuses, and checked back of board for soldering problems and board is looks great. I was wondering if I need to change the whole board or is there a part I could change on my current board? Thank you!
Reply
Hi, Amanda. Unfortunately, you will have to replace the entire board.

I have an Aqua Logic Salt Generator that was installed in 2005. I am getting a No Cell Power alert again and the solder point on the back is showing a burned connection. The current mother board is green and is different than the Blue Board that I have found on line. Is the blue board the new product and will it work with my older unit?
Reply
Hi. The AquaLogic Main PCB - GLXPCBMAIN is the current style PCB for the Aqua Logic controller.
Reply
I have an AquaLogic system which was probably installed in 2005. I have read that the mother board GLX-PCB-MAIN is the replacement part but is not compatible with the Aquaconnect. In other posts I've read that the mother board GLX-PCB-PRO can be used to replace my old mother board for the Aqualogic and I can use the aquaconnect. But now in reading your posts you say that the boards aren't compatible?
Reply
Hi, Dino. You will need the AquaLogic/ProLogic Main PCB and AquaConnect Kit - GLX-PS-AQC to make it compatible.

i have a goldline aqua plus with 4 breakers. My salt reading shows 2700 ppm and low salt indicator check system light is on. water sample at store indicates a salt level of 4300 ppm. what could cause the different reading? store test also had 4300ppb phosphorous , not sure if that is significant

The cell or the main PCB could need to be replaced. Here a few guides that you may find helpful. How To Recalibrate the Salt Level on a Hayward Aqua Rite and How To Know When a Salt Cell is Bad - General

What is the benefit of this board -vs- Part # GLXPCBMAIN?

Hi, Brian. This Board will allow you to upgrade your firmware to 4.20 which will give you the capability to use any of the Turbo Cells, the latest wireless devices along with HomeConnect. These features and upgrades are not available with GLX-PCB-MAIN.

Will this board Glx-pcb-pro work on an older aqualogic system with a glx-pcb-main? Trying to upgrade to use aqua connect. Will my current keypad work? It’s a ps-8. Hayward tech support tells me I’ll have a comm error but I have been reading conflicting things online. I do have a stand alone heater button as well on the control panel.

Hi, Ryan. Replacing the AquaLogic GLX-PCB-MAIN with GLX-PCB-PRO will allow you to use AquaConnect.

I have motherboard G1-06608M-1. It stopped keeping day & time programming. I wouldn't mind upgrading to also allow connection of pool equipment to iPhone if I have to replace motherboard anyway - what would be best fit? I have Hayward Pro Logic system

Yes you would need AquaPlus / ProLogic Main PCB - All Date Code/Versions - GLX-PCB-PRO plus Wireless Antenna Base - AQL2BASERF plus Aqua Connect Home Network - AQCOHOMENET.

In comments below you've said that the GLX PCB PRO is not compatible with the older AquaLogic and in a later post said that it is??? Can you add the GLXPCBPRO to the older aqualogic and get aquaconnect connectivity? Which one is correct?

Hi, John. The GLX-PCB-PRO main PCB will allow you to upgrade the AquaLogic system to use the AquaConnect.

We have an AQL-PS-(4/8/16)-X288 and the main panel is nonfunctioning (just emits a periodic beep). We are currently able to operate the pool using the wired remote display/keypad. Any idea whether this is the part I might need to get the SmartControl Control Center up and running?
Reply
Hi, Maria. Since you're still able to use the wired remote control, your main pcb might still be good and the local display is the issue.

Just replaced T-CELL to 15 from a T-CELL 5. Received an error of Chlorinator OFF, High Salt/ Amps, updated the T-CELL # in the configuration and the error resolved but then appeared again the next afternoon. Confirmed the correct cell #, salt level was 3400 but my now my display is not providing salt level. I believe the firmware is 4.15; the board is approximately 8 years old. What do to?
Reply
Hi, Brooke. You will need to test your pool water to determine the actual salt level, reset the chlorinator. If the controller is reporting a voltage of 35V or higher, replace the main pcb board.
Reply
Display is now showing salt level of 3400 and planning to test actual water. How do you reset the chlorinator? Thank you!

I have a Hayward Pro Logic system. The display would not come on so went to the Hayward site and did performed the test and determined that the local display was not working. I have installed it at it turns on but now the display reads communication error. I have looked but cannot seem to find anything on how to diagnose what could be wrong
Reply
Hi, Armando. Test the wiring harness for damage and test continuity (matching wire colors). If continuity is found on each wire, replace the Local Display.
Reply
Thank you I did test the wires and there was continuity. I have replaced the local display which was not turning on before and the new one does turn on. Once it turns on I get what version the software is then it just displays communication error.

I have the Hayward goldline aqua logic control board. My pool has a water feature. Today the when I press the button on either the main panel or the desktop in the house to turn on the filter and pool lights, they go on fine, however the buttons no longer work to turn on the cleaner nor the water feature. The screen in the house still is functioning but the screen outside is blank and all i hear is a beep every 3-5 seconds. Would this be a mother board issue? Or just the control panel?

I have an old aqua logic p-4 or ps-4 not sure. Can I do a PCB update to use a hayward VSP and get all 8 speed settings?
Thanks Dan
Reply
Yes is what we determined. Hayward Goldline AquaLogic Main PCB Circuit Board | GLX-PCB-MAIN. (59-150-1012 ) Use this newest revision circuit board for AquaLogic systems to operate the new EcoStar variable speed pumps. This board is compatible with all date codes. If your system has a "heater button" at the power center then you can use the GLX-PCB-PRO circuit board instead of replacing it with this one. Doing this will upgrade your system to a ProLogic from your existing AquaLogic. Heater button is located on the local display (mounted in subpanel). It is important to make sure you have a heater "button", not just a heater light. This button will determine if your system can be upgraded to a ProLogic which is only a few dollars more and will give you more options. These systems can be very confusing & Hayward does offer great tech support to the end user if you want to call direct to verify.

I have an AquaLogic system running software rev 2.87. It does have a heater button to toggle manual off to auto heater function, and it's wired to a Hayward propane pool heater. I want to install an AquaConnect gateway module to be able to control my panel from my phone, however the AquaConnect will only take rev 4.2 or newer. I am pretty sure that my panel currently has a GLX-PCB-MAIN board, and I'm wondering if I can safely replace it with GLX-PCB-PRO.
It is best recommended to have a professional complete the replacement of the AquaPlus / ProLogic Main PCB - All Date Code/Versions - GLX-PCB-PRO

Thanks, no heater button so I'll get the MAIN.
