can you tell me what the cylinder diameter is? You describe this part as being for a Kafko / Equator skimmer. However, it looks like the on weir door that is similar to my 15-20 year old Hayward skimmer.

Here is the parts diagram for that skimmer with all the dimensions that we have listed.

I bought your skimmer but a rod didn't come with it so it's of no use to me ... how do I get the rod and what is the cost?

I have this door with tabs on the base of the skimmer that hold it in place. The tabs are worn and will not hold the door in place. Which item do I need to repair this ?

Hi, Brian. You would need the New Style Conversion Kit - 20-0010-1 which includes the tabs, or the Swimquip Weir 8 3/8in - R240067 which does not require tabs.

I am currently using one of these OEM weir doors. Part 19-0101-0. The PVC has worn down where it rubs the 2 clips, and now will not stay in place. I'm confused as to what is the best replacement. Should I purchase another of these, or purchase the conversion kit? If I purchase the conversion kit, what will I need to do when I receive it? I'm just very confused about the options available, even after reading all your previous answered questions. Thanks!

Hi Marc, I know this skimmer is quite confusing. My favorite option is this Universal Weir Door and this will work for your skimmer. You will need to remove the pvc tabs on the skimmer to use the universal weir door, but it is the best option.

Is this Weir spring loaded? How is it different than the Weir, Universal Spring Loaded 8-3/8" - 25141-440-000? Not sure which one to go with. I no longer have the weir, missing when I bought the house, but one tap is broken off. Pool built in the 80's equator Kafko skimmer.

Hi, Chris. This Weir, Skimmer - 19-0101-0 os not spring loaded, it required the Weir Pins or Rod. I recommend the Weir, Universal Spring Loaded 8-3/8" - 25141-440-000, it's a lot easier to install.

Thank you for your response. Do the tabs need to be removed somehow to install this universal weir or does it just fit as is? One tab is broken off, which is why we are going with the spring loaded weir.

Does this part come with the connecting rod?

Hi Todd, this does not include the rod. If you need both the weir and rod, the new style Weir Conversion Kit is the replacement.

The door keeps coming off out of the two U pieces that it clips into (picture attached). I am trying to figure out if the door is worn or the U pieces in the skimmer box is worn. which product should i purchase to fix this issue. is it the weir skimmer (19-0101-0), the weir conversion kit 20-0010-1 or the weir universal spring loaded 8-3/8" 25141-440-000? The universal spring loaded one appears to be the easier one to install since the conversion kit requires gluing. will it work?
The one we have found the best luck with is this Weir Conversion Kit however the other options should work as well.
