Revived impeller #C105238PB and it says 1 1/2 HP Impeller? This parts list says 1 HP and that's what I need. SEE previous question request for addition comments on this part and order. I have requested a return and I really need an impeller please

Hi, Doug. The C105-238PB impeller is rated for a 1HP Full Rate or 1-1/2HP Up Rate motor.

I am replacing the motor on my sta-rite P6RA6G-207L with a 1 1/2 HP uprated Century USQ1152 motor. The original impeller is a C105-238P and is a "bolt on" style. The shaft on the new motor is a "spin on" style. Is this the correct impeller to replace it in my pump housing? Will it fit?
Thanks for taking my question.

Hi, Bob. To convert the pump from 2 hp to 1-1/2 hp you will need this Impeller - C105-238PB, Diffuser - C1-271P1 and the Tune Up Kit - GOKIT79.

In changing my motor how do I remove and replace the impeller? How is it attached to the motor?

Hi, Stan. You will have to lock the motor shaft, remove the impeller screw and then remove the impeller. You can see how this is done in our How To Replace a Sta-Rite Max-E-Pro Pump Impeller guide.

I would like to rebuild my P4EA6F-187L, replace motor, all seals o-rings, and impeller. Is this the correct parts?

Hi Steven, Yes this is the correct parts list. For the motor, you can go with either the USQ1152 1.5 HP Uprated Standard Efficiency Motor or the UQC1152 1.5 HP Up Rated Energy Efficient Motor. The Energy Efficient Motor will cost about 20% less to operate.

I noticed these are all 48Y frame motors. The Sta-Rite pump has a 56Y frame motor. Do the 48Y frame motors ship with a conversion pad?
Reply
Hi Steven, Yes the 48Y motors do come with a rubber spacer pad.

The impeller I have is C105-92P. Will the impeller your company put forward to me work?

Hello Ty. The Sta-Rite Impeller model C105-238PB is NOT the correct impeller replacement. At one time your impeller contained the additional identification mark of "R" or "S". Sometimes the R or S was handwritten with a grease pen. The key in proper impeller identification is the motor Horsepower (HP) and Service Factor (SF) identified on the motor's label. If your motor is a .75HP, the C105-92PS impeller is correct. If your motor is a .5HP with a SF of 1.3 or greater, the C105-92PS is correct. If your motor is a .5HP with a SF of 1.25 or less, the C105-92PR is correct. Dura-Glas Impeller For .75 Up rate (.5 Full Rate) C105-92PS DURA-GLAS 1/2HP UP RATED IMPELLER - C105-92PR

My impeller has part #C105-238PB on it but doesn’t exactly match your picture of that part. Mine has a metal part attached to the shaft with two bumps in it that mate with the shaft seal. Will yours work or do I need a different impeller. I attached a picture of mine. Thanks for your help.
Hello Alvie. The Sta-Rite Impeller C105-238PB is the direct replacement for the impeller identified in the photo provided. The metal part that you reference is a part of the old shaft seal, underneath is a rubber ring, also a part of the old shaft seal. These items are not a part of the impeller construction. When replacing the impeller it is recommended that the motor shaft seal, seal plate O-ring, and diffuser O-ring be replaced at the same time. Hello Lisa. The Sta-Rite Impeller C105-238PB is installed on the Sta-Rite Max-E-Pro Pool Pump. The Sta-Rite Pump Model SNC-L cross-references to a Sta-Rite Shallow Well Jet Pump. Please verify this is the correct pump in your query. The following parts would be specific to the Sta-Rite Pump model SNC-L. Impeller - Impeller, J105-40p (j105-40p) Shaft Seal - Pump Shaft Seal 5/8" PSR-100 Seal Plate Gasket - Gasket, Seal Plate, All Hi- Head (stn20-35) It is recommended that the motor shaft seal and seal plate gasket be replaced concurrent with the new impeller.
