I think the dimensions on this are off. Shouldn't be 7 inches long? Mine is 7 long but only 2.5 tall where as the other one like this is taller so I'm hoping this is the right product for my pump

If the copper ring is degrading on the diffuser on my Sta Rite Max E Pro Pump (Model P6E6E), do you recommend that I change it?

Hi Armondo, if the copper ring is not making contact, interfering with the impeller, or if the diffuser, isn't cracked or broken then it really doesn't need to be replaced.

Does the diffuser come with the screws that secure it to the seal plate?

Hi Rick, unfortunately no the screws and washers do not come with this diffuser. That would be part numbers 5055-25 and 5056-23.

Pump noise and reduced suction

Written on 5/29/2020 by Guest

My pool pump was having some unusual noise and the suction was also reduced. Browsing youtube videos from others with similar problems led me to believe changing the diffuser, impeller and the seals might solve the issue.

I did that and the noise was reduced. However, I noticed a leak underneath the pump and am currently buying the tank body from Inyo as I saw severe wearing of the tank body on my pump. Changing the diffuser was pretty easier thanks to several youtube videos out there
