Tanya,If you have the EC40 system, the correct diaphragm gasket is part # 4820-04 and can be seen here.

put new gasket on e c-50 I think I have it on right,leaks around top after the ban is on.but when the pump is turned on the leak stops.

Hi Ed, You may need to inspect the top and bottom tube sheet, the bump shaft, the handle etc to make sure it in place.

This is the gasket for the EC-40-AC? Is there a gasket kit for this that also includes the rings for the bump handle and the lubrication, like for the EC-40?

Hi, Dominick. This is the correct gasket for the EC40AC filter, there is not a kit for that model filter. The parts will have to be purchase separately.

to replace a diaphragm gasket on a hayward ec40ac do you have to loosen all the bolts or can ijust pry the gasket off and replace it

The ECX5000G is shown for the EC 40AC and EC50C filters, but my filter is an EC50AC. will this gasket fit it? Thank you for your help.

No, the correct diaphragm gasket for the Hayward EC65A is part number 4820-05.
