my filter is leaking water at the gasket I have lubed but still leaks and it gushes under presure what is the problem

Hi, It sounds like the Diaphragm Gasket is bad and will need to be replaced.

My filter is leaking de powder into the pool - the gasket from the flex tube nest us thorn - is this the right replacement gasket? I have a EC40 Hayward perfflex filter

Tanya,If you have the EC40 system, the correct diaphragm gasket is part # 4820-04 and can be seen here.

put new gasket on e c-50 I think I have it on right,leaks around top after the ban is on.but when the pump is turned on the leak stops.

Hi Ed, You may need to inspect the top and bottom tube sheet, the bump shaft, the handle etc to make sure it in place.
