Yes these would be the same parts and the SPX1600S Hayward Super Pump Cover Gasket is ordered separately.

I have strainer cover # SP-1600-D (not SPX) with a raised molding on the inside of the cover that seats the top of the strainer gasket. The gasket for the SPX1600 does not fit this cover. Do you have a gasket that will?

How can I get new knobs for the Hayward pool lid (knob style). Don't need the lid but need the knobs that tighten the lid down to keep air out.

I have a SP2610X15 Hayward strainer and need the strainer gasket for the strainer
housing. Is there also a gasket needed for the lid or is the housing strainer gasket the only
gasket needed?I checked my lid and there seems to be a slot to house a round gasket in the lid
but there is no gasket there.Thought I remembered it being there and think I may have lost
it when cleaning the basket.
Thanks

Yes, there is a lid gasket as well as some others for your pump model if you need them. Please click here to view your pump parts diagram where you can view the individual seals and gaskets or you can select a seal kit(GOKIT) which will have all of the pump seals and gaskets.

Hi John, we only carry these Hayward Super Pump lids with the original manufacturer tint on them however they are see through so you will be able to see the water moving underneath it.

Hello Joe. Under most circumstances the pump lid gasket is not sealing properly, allowing air to enter the circulation system when the pump is running. Super Pump Lid Gasket (O-177) (SPX1600S) It is possible that the lid is warped but a good first step in diagnosing this situation is to replace the pump lid gasket.
