Hi Mike, Yes this is a 3/4" plug which measures 9/16" long.

I have a pressure relief valve instead of a 3/4 plug. The valve leaks a little. Can I use the plug instead of a relief valve? Model Hayward H400FDN. Thanks, Jean

Jean, If you use a plug instead of a pressure relief there will be no way of releasing the pressure un less you completely remove the plug. Also not sure if it the threads will match.

I have a Hayward H400FDP. I broke the larger drain plug and need a replacement and when I pulled up the part it shows it as brass plug while the one I had is plastic with an O ring Part number printed on it 0103235601. Do you have this part? Thanks!

Hi Paul, This Brass Plug is what is currently used to plug the pressure relief valve port. The Drain Plug w/ Gasket (SPX4000FG) which is located to the right of this plug is the drain plug.

I have a Hayward 400BTU heater model H400FDP. It was installed without the pressure relief plug. What is the part number I need to order? Also, if I install the pressure relief plug, can I run the pool pump even though the heater is not hooked up to gas line or electrical?

This Plug, 3/4" NPT Brass - P00270000 is the correct part and you can run the pump through the heater without the electric or gas hooked up.
