Does this shaft seal fit a Whisperflo WFE-4 pool pump and if not, what is the correct part?

Wade,  The 5057-301 shaft seal is for the Whisperflo XL. You will need the Pentair Whisperflo shaft seal.

I asked this question, I received an email but when I clicked on the link there was no answer posted. Does this shaft seal fit a Whisperflo WFE-4 pool pump and if not, what is the correct part?

Part number 5057-301 is not the correct shaft seal for the WFE-4. The correct part number is 071734S (5074-16).

Will this fit WFE-3 with a AO smith replacement motor ( # 196254-06)

That shaft seal is for the WhisperFlo XL. If you want a less corrosive shaft seal for your WFE-3 I would recommend the saltwater shaft seal for the WhisperFlo, part number 5250-225.

I just replaced my pump motor and have a small leak where the motor is bolted to the pump

Hi, Al Riddle. If you did not replace the pump seal then that could be the issue. If it was replaced and installed correctly the seal plate could be warp.
