I have a Hayward 2810x15 pump. This pump is over rated for my system and would like to reduce the output in order to reduce the pressure in the system. Can I use this impeller on my 2810x15 to reduce output.

Hi Rick, You can switch the impeller on your 1-1/2 HP Max Flo to the 3/4 HP impeller, if your only concern is reducing flow then this would be fine I would also suggest a Hayward Max-Flo Tune Up Kit. However if you want to reduce operational cost then you would want to replace your 1-1/2 HP motor with a 3/4 HP Max Flo Motor as if you stay with the 1-1/2 HP motor you will be paying to run a 1-1/2 HP motor but only getting the output of the 3/4 HP impeller. If you lower the motor down to the 3/4 HP Max Flo Motor then you will see roughly a 30% reduction in operational costs. I would also suggest the Hayward Max-Flo Tune Up Kit if you are replacing your motor.

I have a superpump 2605X7 with 2607-C impeller. The motor is a 3/4 Hp, but it is drawing 1.2Hp and overheating. Can I replace the impeller with 2605-C? Not all the dimensions are the same. I assume the pump model means a 3/4Hp (2605) with 2607 impeller?

This part is better made than the original, the screw on shaft for the motor drive is now made of brass or metal. The old one was plastic which cracked and leaked over time.

Thanks gosh for part numbers on components. The part i found on INYO was slightly differntly identified than the legacy one, but the photos are so good i determined that it was essentially the same part, but upgraded. My pool pump stopped working last summer , towards the end, and i could not determine the cause. Taking apart to pump I discovered the impellar to have a tiny tiny crack on the shaft. IDK if that was the problem but the REPLACEMENT has a metal shaft, so quite possible I was not the only one and Hayward made a change, YAY! Fingers crossed this week when the pool cover comes off and the water starts pumping!

I needed a replacement impeller in a hurry, it came in two days, I fitted it - it works! So great product really (not much more you can say about an impeller!) Wonderful site for info and ordering of spare parts, and very good prices. Thank you.
