Hi Lloyd, The Filter Element Assembly (DEX2400DC) would be for the DE2420 model filter.

Is this the whole assembly?? Or just the grids? What does this come with? Everything in picture??

Hi Ivan, The Filter Element Assembly (DEX2400DC) is the complete filter assembly which includes all 8 grids, the manifold with air relief, the grid spacer, and the retaining rod. That's everything that is shown in the picture.

Hi Carl, The Filter Assembly DEX2400C is the same replacement for the DE2400C.

I want to replace my grids. The only # I could find was a DE2420C engraved on top of the manifold. Which one do I need for replacement?

The correct replacement grids is part number FG1002PACK.

The single full size filter grid is part number FG1002, the single partial grid is part number PG1902, the grid pack is part number FG1002PACK, and the grid assembly would be part number 4811-35.

Pool was green and dirty for days, found that old filter had a hole in it, bought this filter, replaced it and pool is now crystal clear. Shipping was free. Great product, would highly recommend
