Will this be a suitable replacement for my Sta-Right original 1HP MOTOR or should I have my motor rebuilt?

Hi Allen, If you can provide the model of the Sta-Rite pump you have I can firm if this will be a suitable replacement. You can have your motor rebuilt or replace if you'd like.

Hi Ed, I would not suggest this pump as a replacement to the Hayward C48K2N14381 I would suggest the PureLine Prime 1 HP Pump as a replacement for the Hayward Super Pump.

Old pump bearings started being loud

Written on 6/17/2019 by Guest

Remove old pump, check the breakers to see if wired for 115 or 230. Simply wrap wires around whichever junctions you are supposed to. The instructions show you. Then repipe and it's good to go. Really easy.

Dead 1hp super pump hayward

Written on 8/6/2018 by Guest

First of all I disconnected the power wires and ground from timer. Second I cut out the inlet and outlet pipes from old pump. Third I connected the conduit to the new pump and timer( make sure you know the right voltage of your pump; pump is wired 220v from factory). Fourth I replied the front and top of pump. Finally I filled the pumps basket with water in order to prime the pump, turn on the motor, open the araliz at the filter to get air out and closed it once I got full Prime.
