my diverter is a "DIV-20" is there a generic? How much?
Reply
Edwin, There is not a generic diverter assy that will replace your DIV-20, you will need to replace it with the Diverter Assy (270056) or the Diverter Assy (270094) depending on what size valve you have.

What is the purpose and location for the RED PLUG? I have a grey Jandy and wish to replace the diverter to a NEVER LUBE type in the existing grey housing.
Reply
Bob, The purpose and location of the red plug on a Jandy valve is to cap off the grease cap for the non-positive valve if you're going to use the never lube diverter. You can replace your current non-positive diverter with the never lube diverter assy.

Will this fit with the grid controls v3000? A inyopools rep tagged this part as a compatible part but it's not referenced on the details.

Jody, This will only fit the Jandy and HydroSeal valves. Unfortunately, this will not fit your application.

I need a repair kit for a 3-port 1-1/2" Jandy valve. The valve is marked SPACE SAVER JANDY VALVE and the only number on it is a patent #4,601.307
Will your kit work for me?

How can I tell which Jandy diverter I have?

Hello Chuck, There would be a part number on the unit of the diverter. There is a parts breakdown Jandy Standard & Never Lube Valve Parts if you need any replacement parts.

I don’t know where to find the part number for my Jandy valve and what size diverter I need I know that 2” pvc sch 40 is glued directly into it and it is gray with lube fitting

Hi Shawqi, Based on the information you provided this would be the correct replacement diverter for your valve.

How do I know what model Jandy diverter valve I need? All it says is Jandy Never Lube Valve. I don't see a part number.

If you click here you will be directed to the neverlube parts diagram and key number 10(1st and last) are the options for your valve diverter parts. Also if you are referring to the complete valve please click here to view your options for the complete neverlube valves. The number of ports and the diameter of the plumbing going into them determines which one that you need.

have jandy 2 way diverter valve the grease fitting broke off the valve is not leaking but is stiff to turn and must turn off the pump to turn easily. Would the generic diverter work in this valve and is there a plug for the grease valve. See the photo attached. Thank you
Any chance this diverter could be used to replace the "bottom diverter assembly (black)" of a Jandy 8034J Neverlube valve?

Hi, Bruce. This is the same Diverter used with the Jandy Neverlube Backwash Valve - 8034J.

Small leak at this diverter, would this cause a the suction to be decreased at skimmer?
Reply
Hello Rosita. If the small leak you are referring to is on a suction side valve then it is possible that suction would be reduced at the skimmer. The other obvious symptom, in that case, would be air bubbles coming out of the return jets. If you are observing water coming out of the top of the valve, then the valve is on the pressure side of the pump and would not be related to a loss of suction at the skimmer. Other possibilities include: A dirty filter - this would cause resistance to water flowing back to the pool which would impact the suction at the skimmer. The pump's impeller is partially clogged or clogged. The valve controlling water flow from the skimmer has been altered. The pump basket is dirty - this would have a negative effect on the pump's ability to move water.

Would this work for a 2-way handy space saver valve? I didn’t see a more specific part # on the valve or diverted assy.

Hello Timothy, the Jandy space saver valve does not use this kit however please click here to view the parts diagram for your valve series.
