I replaced the main printed circuit board that I had replaced last year . The T Cell I had replaced 2 years ago it is not producing any chlorine and the only light that is one is the power light .Could it be the transformer. Any ideas of what to do.
Reply
David, I don't this its the transformer because the power light is on. Gave Hayward Tech Support a call at (908) 355-7995 for further assistance, I'm not sure on what is causing the problem.

The power light is the only light on my AquaRite, what is the issue?
Reply
When the power light is the only thing lit up on your AquaRite this indicates that the AquaRite PCB Board is bad. We have a good guide with video which shows How to Replace and AquaRite PC Board.

I have a 65,000 liter pool and I am looking for an AquaRite style salt chlorine generator, what do you suggest.
Reply
For a 65,000 liter pool which is roughly 18,000 gallons I would suggest the Crystal Pure Salt Chlorine Generator here.

My system is not producing chlorine and the only light indicator is the generation for only a few seconds after turning the power switch on.

Hi Nelson, It sounds like you will need to replace the Aqua Rite Main PCB (GLX-PCB-RITE), if you're planning on replacing it yourself you can watch our How to Replace and AquaRite PC Board guide.

My pool water salt content was just tested at 3000 ppm yet the high salt LED is still on and the unit is not chlorinating. What could be the problem?
Reply
The chlorinater, after running for some time or when it is very hot out side, gives off a moderate to loud buzzing sound inside the cabinet .. Sounds like a relay, regulator or solenoid type of mechanical sound. The transformer and fan don't seem to be a logical source. Main board?

Hi Terry, We have not came across this problem so can't say exactly what is wrong. I would recommend calling Hayward Tech Support at 908.355.7995 to see if they know what is causing the loud buzzing sound coming from inside of the panel.

do you sell just the electronic power supply board for the aqua rite salt cloriator
Reply
Yes, the Hayward AquaRite's Main PCB is part number GLXPCBRITE. This board distributes power to the cell and display board.

I have a Hayward Swimpure Plus control box that is not working anymore, I already replaced the Cell with a T-Cell15 Hayward model, what control unit should I buy now for a15,000 Gallon Indoor Pool

Sounds like you need to replace the main board in the control unit which is part number GLXPCBRITE.

I have a Hayward/Goldline AquaRite Salt Chlorination system. All I need is the door to the front of the control box housing. Is that available anywhere?
Reply
Unfortunately, we do not have that part. If your system is still under warranty Hayward should replace it for you. Otherwise, I would give Hayward a call to see if they have one they would be able to ship to you or if they know of any vendors that might sell just the door.

I have a Hayward AquaPure salt system that burned up. I believe it is no longer made. Can I replace it with the AquaRite and still use my same Cell system that is already attached? I have had this for 6 years.
Thanks,
Sandra

Hi, Sandra. You can if you have a compatible cell. If you can provide us with more info like the cell size and or the controller model we can provide you with some options.

That AquaPure is manufactured by Jandy so you would need the Jandy power pack for that salt cell.

I want to confirm that the replacement for my existing Goldline Aqua Rite Controller (See photos of internal door and PCBs and current cell) is the GLX-CTL-RITE or what ever other one may be it before I purchase.
I've had mixed units from other sources including Hayward, therefore I'm leary of getting the wrong replacement.
I want one then can go right where the existing one is and reconnect the same wires.
Thank you for your help.
Hi Larry, Yes this would be the correct replacement power supply for your GoldLine AquaRite.

On the control, there used to display ppm of salt but somehow it only shows all other numbers but no ppm
How can I reset or fix this problem
Thanks

Hi, Coke. You can use our How to Change the Units of Measurement on an Aqua Rite SCG guide to resolve your issue.

I have an AquaRite with a T-15 salt cell. All of the front panel lights were out and I replaced the fuse. After about 2 mins the unit will blow the fuse. I just had a new pool pump and motor installed. The salt system was working fine until today. Any suggestions or diagnostics I can run?
Thanks

We would recommend first inspecting the main PCB board for the salt system for any shorted components that may need to be replaced and also going back over all wiring to make sure the pump and motor have wired correctly.

I have a goldline aquarite model X296 does this model replace it?
Reply
Yes, the Control Unit Aqua Rite - GLX-CTL-RITE would be the replacement control unit for your existing X296.

What warranty does this product come with? Do warranties have to be filled through inyopools or any certified Hayward retailer?
Reply
Hi Gavin, This power supply comes with a 1 Year Warranty. If you have a warranty issue then typically you would call Hayward directly to try and troubleshoot and if it determined that a warranty replacement is needed then you would reach out to us and we would get the warranty replacement shipped out. I believe this process can also be done by a local authorized Hayward warranty service center.

I have an 14 year old Aquarite system. The Check Salt and inspect cell lights are on and the salt reading is zero. I reset the salt reading, still zero, checked the salt level and reading 3000 ppm and the salt cell is clean. A local pool parts tested the cell and is generating chlorine. For the past 3 days, the chlorine in the pool is fine with no additional shock. It seems like the cell is working but the the logic board is not.

Hello. Attached please find the AquaRite Troubleshooting Guide Troubleshooting Guide Residential and Quick Reference Guide. Quick Reference Guide Please follow the steps indicated in the Check Salt & Inspect Cell: flashing or ON. Once complete refer to the Quick Reference Guide section Cell Amperage. When the Generating Light on the Control Box is green scroll through the Display readings for the Cell Amperage reading and compare it to the published values. Check instant salt reading (one polarity). Move the three-position switch on the Control Box to Off. Turn the switch back to Auto and check Instant Salt Reading. See page 11 Troubleshooting Guide.

We have a 6 year old Hayward AquaRite 900 System, Getting Erroneous Readings on the Display Board. Shows from 400 to 1800. Actually water test reading is 3800. What May be the issue ? Salt Cell (T940) ? Or Main Board. Thank You for Your expertise & answers
It is probably time for a new salt cell. Perform the tests on pages 2-3 of the AquaRite Diagnostics manual to be sure. If you need it, this Hayward AquaRite Replacement 40,000 Gallon, TurboCell, Model W3T-CELL-15 will be a perfect replacement for your old T-940 cell.
