Will this fit the s600 Waterco filter? I have a screw on type valve.

Yes this valve made by Praher Valves will replace the valve used on the Waterco S600. If your current valve has a six sided top and external threads on 3 of the valve ports and is connected to the plumbing with unions, then you will a little re-plumbing which you will need to do.

Will this valve replace the A0102200 for the ST24-T sand filter?
Reply
Yes this valve is the correct replacement for the A0102200 valve which was used on the ST24-T sand filter.

I had one of these installed with a new pool 14 years ago and experienced the handles snapping off on four occasions during this time. am not sure if your current model will fit the thread of the sand filter itself or if the diameter of the pipes has altered and is the unit complete with all of the required internal parts ? Kind Regards, Max. in Melbourne, Australia.

As long as you are replacing the same model valve with the exact replacement model then all will remain the same. Also if you are not sure then have the specific filter model and cross reference the valves used for that filter model.

I replaced this valve but the filter/ backwash/recirc/etc is not in the right place. Moving the handle to gilter did not filet, tried moving the handle to recirculate seems like it may be the filter. Is there anyway to tell the difference between it being on filter vs Recirculate?
Reply
Susie, When the valve is in "Recirculate" mode it will bypass the filter, which the pressure gauge will be at '0' and in "Filter" mode it will go through the filter which the pressure gauge will show the pressure increase.

right before replacing my waterco multiport valve with the praher manufactor code TM-12-PB i replaced the pump and had hard wiring installed while the waterco valve was still working. week later had to replace the multiport valve with the praher. we used the same hard wiring as with the waterco except changing to a differant union. maybe the hard wiring is wrong is that possible? there seems to be 2 closed postitions on the multiport. in my earlier ? i inquired about not matching up with filter

Susie, The wiring for the pump has nothing to do with the valve position, you may have gotten the in and outlet port mixed up. Confirm that the hose from the pump to the filter are in the correct port on the valve. If it is in the correct position, I would recommend getting a service company out to see what is going on.

does this valve thread on with O-ring
Reply
Hi, The 1 1/2" Valve (228042) is threaded onto the filter tank. There is a tank o-ring that prevents water from leaking but its not included with the valve.

Any advice on how to remove the existing valve? I can't get it to move at all.

Hello Bert, normally when a valve doesn't budge it needs to be cut out and replaced with a new unit, these units are glued in which is why you have to cut out the valve.

Will this unit replace the Waterco Model No. 30B0045? The "From Pump" & "Return to Pool" are on the same side as this Praher Valve.

I do not see an o ring that goes with this, which o ring will work with this and also what unions do i need to hook the pluming to this?
Reply
The o ring for this valve is part number R0354800 but is showing as no longer available and this valve does not use unions any longer for it has been updated to a newer design/model.

will this work on waterco T500C filter ? thanks

Hi Dan, We show that the Waterco T500C filter has used two valves a clamp on valve and a threaded valve. You would need to select the same style valve as what you currently have on your filter. You may view or purchase these valves through our Water T500C Filter Parts Page (Key 6A & 6B)

I have a client with a very old Waterco Sand Filter. No part numbers or sand filter or multi-valve. I need to replace the spider gasket but client is open to a new top mount multi-valve. I have determine they have a Waterco 1.5" 6-Way Top Mount Valve (Part #: WC229042A). Does this valve be a comparable replacement with their filter bottom?

I have a Waterco T450 Sand filter that has the 6" Screw thread multiport valve. Is the Praher 228042 PART # 4591-01 or the Praher Tm12-PB PART # 4707P a direct replacement? Both valves look similar, Thanks
The Valve,top Mt.butrs.thd.-praher (tm-12-pb) https://www.inyopools.com/Products/07501352028327.htm has the threaded flange.

Thanks for the reply, the 2 Praher valves 228042 and TM12-B look identical in the images on the website each has a different part number and price. What is the difference between the 2. Thanks
The Valve, 1 1/2" - Replaced By Praher Valve (228042) TM12B has the buttress thread at the mounting threads to the filter. The Valve, top Mt.butrs.thd.-praher (tm-12-pb) is standardly threaded. Buttress threads have a thread where there the lines are spaced further apart making them look more coarse.
