I have the new bottom half of the Hayward pool filter DEX2404. The old one is cracked and needs replacement. I thought the hubs that connect to to pipes to the tank would be threaded but looking at the new tank they are not. How do the connect up? Glue? Pressure fit? Thanks in advance for your help.

What type of plastic are these made of ? Can you glue pvc pipe to them using regular pvc cement ?

I have stay clear cartridge filter 1200, I have 1 1/2 inch pipe. Is this union connect to 1 1/2 inch pipe?

Hello Matthew, this union kit has 2 inch slip connections. We do carry a union assembly that has 1.5 inch connections being part number 9348-650. I have also emailed you an estimate that you can convert to an order if you would like. Item is currently in stock and ready to ship.
