My pump is producing enough vacuum to operate the filter, but it is making noise.
Took the four bolts off the housing to get to the internal parts, but not sure how to separate the impeller to see if it is clogged.
Couldn't figure out how to separate the individual parts. Don't want to break anything, so I didn't use much force.

Is this a replacement for SP-1600-C?

Hi, No this impeller does not replace the SP-1600-C. If you have a SP-1600-C then you will need this Hayward 1/2 HP Drive Train Up Grade Kit as your old style impeller is no longer available.
