Will this impeller (073128) fit the WFK-4 1hp 3-phase Pentair Whisperflo pump?

Yes, Pentair part number 073128 is the correct impeller for the WFK-4. It will also work on the WFE-4, WFE-26, WF-4, WF-26, WFDS-4, WFDS-26.

Does this impeller come complete with screw to attach it to the motor shaft, or does the screw have to be purchased separately?

I am replacing a 3/4 hp whisperflo motor WFE-3, SF 1.67 with a 1 hp SF 1.65. Do I need to replace the impeller, if so, will this one work? Thanks.

Hi, Ernie. This Impeller - 073128 is the correct size to use with a 1 HP 1.65 SF motor if you would also like increase water flow. With the increased water flow, you will have to make sure your plumbing and filter is large enough and the water flow does not exceed the flow rate of your heater.

Great thank you! Yes, plumbing is 2" and 60 SF DE filter. The pool is quite big and I was wondering why we were always fighting algae in the summer. I am guessing because the motor being replaced is only 3/4 HP.

Hi. I have a pentair 1.5 hp pump that appears to be driving the pressure up on the filter. The old pump was 1 hp. What impeller do I need to change down to 1hp
Hi, Jamison. To reduce the pump performance, you will need to replace the Impeller - 355067 and Diffuser - 355617 along with new seals which are apart of the SuperFlo Tune Up Kit - GOKIT78.

Thanks for the info. Do you think it may be easier to use some sort of flow control device to the filter? What that put more strain on the pump? Any ideas what type of flow control would work?

Okay, I have a whisperflo WF-24 but my motor is 1HP for sure. So, I’m curious to know Which impeller I need.. The #073227 or the #073128 which seems to be for 1 HP motors.
My pipes are 2” and my filter is rated for 60 sq ft and if it’s to creat more pressure I think I’m ok if not crazy much more

I need to replace both the impeller and the motor on older Pentair Whisperflo 1 hp motor, part number 7-177475-20. Which impeller should I use? Also, I believe I have found the proper replacement motor, Century B848. Is that correct? Thank you!

Hello, the correct impeller you will need is the Pentair Whisperflo Impeller, 1 Hp Full, 1 1/2 Hp Uprated - 073128. Also, the Century (A.O. Smith) 1.0 HP Full Rate Motor, Square Flange 56Y Frame, Single Speed - Model B2848 will be compatible with your Whisperflo wet end. To replace the motor, you will also need a seal kit, which would be the Pentair WhisperFlo Saltwater Seal Kit - Model GOKIT32SALT.
