I am having an issue removing the impeller screw from my Pentair WhisperFlo. Is there a trick to getting this part out?

There is no trick to removing the screw but it is a reverse thread. So, if you've been trying to use the "lefty loosey" method then you will not get very far. Turn the opposite way and it should come out with a few good turns.

What size is the Pentair WhisperFlo impeller screw?

The Pentair WhisperFlo impeller screw measures 1/4 - 20 x 1 inch.
