I have a Pac Fab Nautilus NS36 D.E. Filter which is contained in a stainless steel body. The original filter is approx. 25 years old. Will the featured Ns36 filter fit my older equipment?

What is the air relief strainer and where does it connect

Hi Sheryl, The air relief strainer allows the system to purge any air that is trapped in the system. The strainer allows only the air and not debris to get by. There is a port on top of the manifold where the strainer is to be placed.

Inquired as to whether newer NS 36 Grid assembly can replace vintage 1986 Nautilus Pac-Fab NS 36 grid assembly? Also, what is the purpose of top pressure relief vent on newer units?

Does the NS36 come with an "air bleeder" that is attached to the top of the assemble? There is an open circular piece on the top that I assume an air bleeder or similar piece would be attached to.

The DE grids on the 36 Sq. Ft. filters measure 18" in length. This is the complete pre-assembled grid assembly which includes 8 DE grids, top manifild, bottom manifold, air relief strainer, extension and tie rod.

No this does not fit the FNS Plus, you will need this FNS Plus 36 Grid Pack along with this FNS Plus Manifold
