I have a pac fab nautilus nss-48 stainless de filter. Is this the correct grid assembly? Does it come with a new down tube and new down tube o-ring?

The part# 192326 Grid Assembly - Ns48 48 Sq Ft for Pac-Fab Nautilus Stainless D.E includes 8 DE grids (key#10x7 and key#9x1), bottom manifold/retainer grid (key#28),top manifold (key#7), air relief strainer (key#34), extension and tie rod (key15). Hi Tim, You would need the Piping Assembly, Upper Sh400 (194983), unfortunately this part is no longer available and there is not replacement.

Hi, I have a Pentair FNS48 Filter that is approximately 15 years old. The grids all appear to be holding up fine but are not holding DE - it's coming back into the pool. Pic attached showing filter prior to back-washing with many grids with little to no DE attached. Is there a life expectancy to the grid material? I don't see any cracks in the manifold or pipe etc. Any suggestion on what may be causing this? Thank you
Hi Tony, we normally see that DE grids will last about 5 years so if you still have the original grids then it would definitely time for a new set of grids.

I have a Sylvan Pool DE Filter, 48 sq. ft. Model 583090. The other information on the filter states: KDI American, Mfg by American Products, No. Hollywood, Ca and Orlando, Fl. Will this filter be interchangeable with my system?

Nautilus FNS48 (PACFAB) was installed March 1995, only items replaced to date are some individual filters. Recently DE ejected from spa jets. Pool company technician found no leaks in filters or elsewhere. Suggestions? Thinking about replacing the entire grid assembly with the NS48 assuming that will fit, but I want to ensure it will also resolve the problem. Thanks!

The grids may have some tears. Did the technician check them? And yes these would be the correct units to replace if needed yours.

I’d like to verify before purchasing that this will be a direct replacement for the assembly in my 48 sq ft American Titan D.E. Filter from circa 1986. Product #584090.
I’d also be looking for the O-ring that is part of the connection from this assembly to the tanks standpipe.

Hi. Thanks for setting me straight. Just need some clarification about Grid Assy., 48 sqft. Titan - 59002500. Dimensions indicated in product photo (17" x 28") differ from Dimensions in Description (17.5" x 29.5"). Does the difference have something to do with the dimensions of the manifold? Thanks

Yes. The 5900250 it is a replacement for KDI American Grid Assembly #584090 48 sq. ft. with stainless steel tank.

I have an old Pac-Fab NS48 DE filter. My old assembly does not have the air vent tube shown in the newer manifold. I did not notice the screen there either. I saw some Amazon reviews claiming this part 192326 lacks the part 172855 (vent screen). Can you confirm that this is the correct replacement part for me and I do not need to order anything seprately?
