Is there an indoor vent kit that needs to be purchased with this unit for indoor installation?

what is the difference between copper and nickel heat exchanger, would I even notice the difference?

For longer heater life look for a cupro nickel heat exchanger and tubing vs the standard copper units. Cupro nickel holds up better in fluctuating pH levels and salt systems.

Would this work on an above ground pool 24' in the mountain, elevation 2,045 feet? How much would it raise the water temp?
Reply
Hi, Tamrick. This unit can be used but it not ideal to heat a 24' above ground pool. This unit is rated for an elevation level up to 8,000 feet and you can expect a 1/2 degree temperature increase per hour.

Hi, do you have any specs onn what would be de propane gas consumption for the heater for heating a 2500 galon jacuzzi form 75F to 85F ??

It is going to depend on how fast you are wanting the temperature to rise.

I have a company coming to bring me 2 100 gal tanks of propane. I see there is a fitting I need to run to allow them to hook up their prone tanks to the Mastertemp 125 LP corded heater I bought Do you sell this piece of gas pie? it looks like it is 3/4 inch x 8 " long is that correct?
Reply
Hi, Mike. We do not sell that gas connection fitting, that can be acquired by the gas company whose installing the gas line.

I'm thinking of purchasing this item, but the 6 foot cord may be too short to reach the box. Can you use an extension cord?
Reply
Richard, The use of an extension cord is not recommended. In your case, I would recommend the version that does not come with a cord so that you can run the length of cord you need.

Hi there,
We have been using an old Purex Triton Mini Max 250 to heat our commercial spa (hot tub). It is worn out and we were thinking of replacing it with the 125,000 btu model. The tub is around 1000 gallons. We think the 250 was actually oversized but we are unsure. Will the 125 heat the water fast enough? and to 104 degrees max? Thank you for your time. Leia
Reply
Hi Leia, for the spa with the dimensions you listed we would suggest the 250,000 BTU model as the 125,000 BTU will be too small and will take too long to bring your spa up to 104.
Reply
Is this big enough for my above ground pool? Its 24 foot round and 54 inches deep.
Reply
Hi, Ron. This 125K BTU heater is a little on the small side, however, will heat a 24' above ground pool. You will get about a 1/2 to 3/4 degree temperature increase per hour.

Can I control this heater from a 7 day time clock? Pool is at a weekend home and I want the ability to have the heater turn on before we arrive. Does it store the desired temp settings when powered off? Does this mean heater needs to be wired 120v vs 240v? Thanks!
Reply
Depending on the time clock you have it will do as you expect. You might need to change your time clock to accommodate this unit however. This unit can be wired we either 120V or 240V.
Reply
Yes, the heater will only run if the pump is on, So only when the pump runs will the heater work. It can be wired 120 or 240.
Reply
You can hook up the 110V control circuit to a timer and that would control when the heater would be on or off

I have a 13x30 freeform 9000 gallon pool and just want to help add a few weeks to my pool season would this heater do the work I need. Or will I need something larger?
Reply
Hi, Kyle. This unit can be used to heat your pool, however, a larger unit will run more efficiently.

Turned on heater and got a message to (service system) Does this mean the heater or /and or filter ?
Reply
That is an indication low water flow to the heater. Check the skimmer and filter. If it remains on have the system checked by a certified pool professional.
Reply
Check your filter pressure. Does filter need to be back washed? Heaters need the correct water flow to work properly.
Reply
This is for the Heater but may be caused by low flow

what size propane tank is needed to use with this heater?
Reply
Hi, Elizabeth. This unit requires 1-1/4 gallons of propane gas an hour to operate. You will need a large enough tank to run this unit based on how usage.

Does this unit come with all the parts needed to hook it up?
Reply
Hi Niccole, yes this unit comes with the parts needed however the miscellaneous parts such as any extra electrical cords or plumbing accessories will not come with the unit as each application can be different.

Does this unit come with all the parts needed to hook it up?
Reply
Hi Niccole, You may need some general plumbing fittings and pipe glue which you would buy locally. Also if you have an inline chlorinator then we suggest a check valve between the heater and the chlorinator which is not included. Outside of these items then everything else is inlcuded.

Do you have this in stock? How long would it take to get to zip code 01036?
