This valve is attached to the top of the filter tank and the bottom of the valve slides into a pipe that comes up from the lateral assembly at the bottom of the tank.

Hi Tim, No this is not the correct replacement valve for the Sea Blue Pool Filter. If you have 1.5" plumbing going into your valve you will need the 1.5" Richardson SeaBlue Replacement Valve and if you have 2" plumbing going into your valve you will need the 2" Richardson SeaBlue Replacement Valve

What is the width of the part that fits into the top of the filter tank? My tank has an opening of 6-3/4 inches. The flange at 8" works for my tank.

The approximate diameter of that flange would be 8 inches but the most efficient way to cross reference the correct valve for your filter is by providing the model of the filter itself. If you do not have that information then you could send us some images to upload@inyopools.com and maybe we can identify that.

Hi Wayne there is not an alternative unit compatible as a replacement for the 647304071 that has a replaceable spider gasket. We do carry the Diverter With Glued in Spider Gasket for the PO11400V - 647304071 valve, which is an option to replace your spider gasket without needing to replace the complete valve.

do you sell the 2-1/2" unions and O-rings for the suction and discharge connections,Using a threaded connection broke the new valve I had already purchased from you last year.and yes it was hand tight only with Teflon tape. IO would like to purchase a new one to keep from changing piping, but if this is the quality im getting , ill go to another vendor , thanks

Will this fit a 16" INTEX sand filter? Intex's diverter p/n is 11496 but this came up in the search.

I ordered the upper portion of this assembly, ("Sand Filter Valve Upper Assembly w/ Spider Gasket PL0773") and discovered that I need the entire thing. But now I'm not finding a "Lower Assembly." Can I get that part? Or do I need to order the entire valve? If so, I'll need to return the Upper Assembly.

Hi Melissa, unfortunately, this valve is not compatible with the Jacuzzi Laser Sand filter series. Please see this parts diagram to view the options for replacement multiport valves compatible with your filter.

Hi, Ryan. Unfortunately, we do not have the replacement unions for this valve however you can use any male 1.5-inch threaded union. The union assembly part number PL1643 is one example if you need the valve to attach to 1.5-inch plumbing.

No the Pentair 272531 will not fit on top of this valve. The proper top assembly for this valve will be the PL0773 Top Assembly
