I need a part for my Dolphin pool cleaner but I don't see it on the parts breakdown. Is there still a chance you may still have it?
Reply
The manufacturer which is Maytronics, does not offer all parts for sale. If you don't see a part on the breakdown you can give us a call. For parts that they do not consider "DIY (do it yourself), you will need to contact them and send in the cleaner for repair.

Are the Dolphin DX3 and DX3S the same, AND what bag do I need for the DX3S, and do I need clips or something else to attach the bag and if so, what is the part number for that!
Reply
Hi, Rosemary. The DX3S and the DX3 cleaners use the same bags. You can either reuse or purchase new Filter Bag Clips - 9981430.

I purchased the filter because I could not find my filter. When I tried to use the new filter, the pool cleaner kept floating to the top of the water no matter what I did to remove air from the cleaner. After unsuccessfully using the purchased filter, I found my old one and inserted it into the cleaner. It performed well as it did all last year. On examination of the two filters, I noticed the old one had four holes (eyelets) in the corners allowing air to escape. The newly purchased filter had no holes.

This bag is thicker and the elastic is tighter than the previous bag making it a little harder to put on. Other than that, it works fine.
