Are the bearings on this part held in the same way on both sides? When I removed this piece, one side of the part has a black plastic piece holding the bearings in, on the other side was nothing, and the bearings just fell out.

Hi, Cathy. It does not appear that this bearing and the one in the pictures provided are the same. This bearing has a white ring that keeps the bearing in place.

Hi not sure which dolphin model I have but the belt stopped turning. I took the side in question off and the drive pulley seems To be broken. Can you confirm this is what I need?

Hello.  The Maytronics Dolphin Drive Pulley, Single - 3883645 is the appropriate Dolphin Apollo Drive Pulley.  The current drive pulley is no longer intact. The photo attachment reveals that the stainless-steel ball bearing raceway has deteriorated.  Please visually inspect the remaining drive pulley and guide wheels for integrity.

I simply was able to easily disassemble the body parts (eight screws) to get to the pulley, remove the drive pulley and replace it with this new one. Reassembled the body. Works great now!!! Better than it has in awhile.

Were these instructions helpful?
