is it possible to just buy the connector piece that plugs into the mother board? I am getting a no flow indicator and I have just replaced the salt cell and mother board. Pretty sure my flow sensor is ok - but the connection is not.

Hi, The connect is not sold separately, you will have to replace the entire flow switch.

I am getting a check cell reading, which when I pulled the cell off for cleaning, I noticed a turquoise film on the end where the copper switch was housed. After cleaning the cell and wiping off the turquoise residue, I reinstalled the cell. The check light went out but now 3 days later it is back on. Has anyone else had the turquoise residue? Is it time for a new switch?
Thank you.

Yes, sounds like it's time for a new flow switch.

My aquarite was showing a salt reading of 1900 last weekend. I added 40 lbs of salt. Several days later the reading was 2200. I added another 40 lbs of salt. Now several days later the reading has dropped to 2100. My pool is just under 15,000 gallons and typically one 40 lb bag of salt would increase the level by about 400 ppm. Does the flow control switch capture the ppm and possibly need replaced? Or could this be a board issue?

Hi, Ed. The flow switch does not relay the salt level to the controller, the cell does. You may need to have the cell tested at a Hayward Repair Center to make sure it's working.

My Hayward Aqua Rite salt system shows a flashing light "no flow" on the control panel. There is significant flow from the pump through the filter then to the salt cell and out to the pool. The display shows the cell is generating at 3000. The flow switch is located before the salt cell but without 12" of strait pipe between the filter and the flow switch.
What should I do?
Can the salt cell be oriented in either direction or is there a direction of flow required?
Thanks

Hi, Brian. Use the steps on page 26-30 of the AquaRite Troubleshooting Guide. The Flow Switch - GLX-FLO-RP may need to be replaced. The call can be installed in any orientation.
