Hello Melvin, the install on this unit would just be plug and play. Simple 4 pin ribbon connection.

On our unit the pool on, temp down, and other buttons work but the UP temp button does not work. Membrane issue?

Hi Dennis. There could also be an issue with the connection between the membrane pad and the board, but the membrane pad is the most likely culprit.
