Hello Bill, Normally there are part numbers under the skimmer lid, for the sp1091 skimmer basket should be a Hayward or Muskin.

My old basket (SP1091C2) matches your first 2 dimensions. However, after that it states "flat dimensions are 1 3/4" bottom dimension is 4 5/8" height is 3 1/4". 1. What is "flat dimension"? (nothing on my basket measures anywhere close to 1-3/4") 2. My basket bottom OD is 4-5/8" - 4-3/4" 3. My basket has an outside height of 3-3/8"

Tim, The flat dimension is the length of the flat side by the handle.

Nice product, but I ordered the wrong size by mistake!~): Didn't realize 1/2 inch made that much difference. Would recommend this to anyone needing a replacement for this size!!!
