Part # 4040-04
Manufacturer Code SPX1082K
Dimensions 7.75" X 5.38"
This is a replacement weir for Hayward pool skimmer models SP1082, SP1083, SP1084, SP1085, SP1075, SP1075T, SP1076, SP1077. It is also used on the larger Skim Filter SF-400 model (be sure to measure existing weir).
THE TABS BROKE OFF AND ARE STILL IN THE HOLES. I'M UNABLE TO REMOVE THEM. HOW CAN THE REPLACEMENT BE INSTALLED?

Hi Juan, The only option you have is to use the Hayward/Seablue Weir.

My pool is missing the weir therefor I can't measure it. Is there another way to find out what model number skimmer I have? I'm pretty sure it's a Hayward because there is an "H" under the cover.

Hi, typically on the underside of the skimmer lid there is a model number that identifies the entire skimmer. From there we can locate the correct weir gate part. The "H" would denote you have a Hayward skimmer.

Hi, I wondered if you carry just the piece of hard foam that fits into Hayward skimmer part sp1082k4. I don't need to replace the whole piece, just the foam. Thanks!
Reply
Hi Julie, I'm sorry we do not carry just the foam, only the foam and the weir.

(4 out of 5 stars) Weir that works
Reviewed By: Dave J. from Spokane, WA ()
Pros: ease of install
Cons: none so far
This is not exactly like my original weir, which had rod all the way through and was somewhat difficult to get out. This one has more like a button on each side that you squeeze and it pops right in and fit perfectly.

Had to file edges for a proper fit. Just a tad to big to work correctly.

(5 out of 5 stars) Brand New Skimmer Weir
Reviewed By: Darlene N. from Baltimore, MD ()
Our old skimmer weirs were stained, discolored and just generally ugly. While ordering some filter parts, I found it easy to order new skimmer weirs at the same time. Simple to order and simple to install!
