This product is 2". will it fit a C1200 that is 1 1/2"? A is this type product required or will a 1-1/2 in. PVC Sch. 40 MPT x S Male Adapter work

This would not work with the C1200 with 1-1/2" ports. You could use a standard 1.5" mpt socket connector. The 1.5" fitting can be found at any hardware store.
