STA-RITE Max-e-therm pool heater is not coming on. shows error E 01 what is the problem and how can I fix it

An E01 is a thermistor open code. That is key number 21 on the part diagram here.

Does this correct an E05 error? Stack flue temp is at 70 when E05 shuts everything down.

Can I test this sensor with an OHM meter? What reading would indicate a bad sensor?

Hi. Resistance should be 3.5-4.0 megaohms, if not it will need to be replaced. .

I am having an intermittent E05 error code on a Pentair Mastertemp 400. Any suggestions what I should look at/for? Is this the correct stack flu sensor for that heater?
