Product Description

5111-52 OEM strainer housing with basket is an exact replacement for the original style housing.  Used on the following Hayward pumps:

  • Power-Flo 1500 Series
  • Power-FloLX1580, 1520UN, 1680
  • Power-Flo II & III 1700 & 1700UN
  • Turbo-Flo
  • Leslie's Hydramax

This assembly includes:

  • (1) Strainer housing SP-1515
  • (1) Large capacity basket SPX1500LX
  • (1) Drain plug w/ gasket

This new housing is compatible with the original strainer lid, lid o-ring, and gasket between pot and pump.

You can purchase the Power Flo basket separately.

what size is the inlet and outlet

The in and outlet are 1.5"

What size are the inlet threads and does it include housing , cover, cover o-ring and basket?

Hello Rocky - The intake is 1-1/2" female threaded. This housing will include the basket and drain plug with gasket. It does not include the cover or cover o-ring. Part number 5111-17A is the cover and o-ring.

No the Power Flo Strainer is only sold with the basket.

There seems to be a leak at the bottom of the strainer housing, which is letting air into the system. Any thoughts? Mod # on pump is sp15921tlfp Mod # on motor is sp1510z1xesc Name on system is power flow matrix

James, Are you sure it's coming from the pump housing? I would inspect for cracks in the housing and the drain plugs.
