Part # 6675-06
Manufacturer Code 51016200
O-ring, Cover (6652-05)
I have a 2"x2"x2" 3-way Pentair diverter valve that is leaking. Can replacing the O-Ring possible stop the leak or should I just replace the valve?
Thank you for contacting Inyo Pools, If it's leaking from you will 2 of #7 and 1 #9 in the Compool / Pentair Diverter Valve Parts if it's leaking from the stem. If it's leaking from the cover plate then you need #6

What does "If it's leaking from you will 2 of #7" mean?

Yes, if you have a leak at the valve, most likely, the cover O-Ring PART # 6675-06 will resolve it. If the cover O-Ring is the fault, you would most likely see water leaking between the Cover (270030) and the lower valve body. The internal diverter has two Shaft O-rings 192039 and one Spacer Split Ring (270038) if they need to be replaced, likely water would come up through the top near the knob or you will experience difficulty rotating the valve. It would not hurt to replace them while you are opening the valve. Parts page shown here https://www.inyopools.com/pool_parts_compool_pentair.aspx
