Part # 2110-08A
Manufacturer Code CLX200PA
TO INSTALL FLOW CONTROL VALVE HANDLE
1 The flow control valve handle Genuine Hayward Part (CLX200PA) is furnished in two pieces.
2 To install push the handle into the stem and fully install stem into body. You may have to remove handle and
reposition to assure the stem is fully seated.
3 Remove handle by pulling straight out.
4 Apply a single drop of Super Glue to the end of the stem, push on handle, positioned in the OFF position. Apply
pressure for 30 seconds.
How do you remove the old stem and handle? Mine has a slow dripping leak.

My dog chewed the knob off pretty flush with housing, how does the stem itself come out. Is the stem just pressed in??
Reply
The stem itself is simply pressed into the Hayward CL200 chlorinator, so you may want try some needle nose pliars to see if you can pull out the broken stem.

Our knob has a fairly large wing on one side and a small protrusion on the other side. Which part should be pointing to the number we want for chlorine use?
Thanks (seems like a dumb question...last person to work on this pool didn't leave very good directions.)

The Control Assembly Knob that have the large wing is side that you would adjust to the number that would want your chlorinator to be set at.

My CL220 flow control knob has a slow leak. Believe it needs a new o ring. Does it take one or two o rings and where can I get them? I removed the knob and my unit which is more than 10 years old has one o ring.Thank you.

Hello Tom- There are two o-rings on the knob control. I checked and they no longer sell just the two o-rings by themselves. You would have to purchase the Knob, control Assembly W/o-ring (clx200pa) part # 2110-08a.

The chlorinator is leaking from the adjustment knob. I would like to replace it, but I can't get the old knob off. Am I supposed to pry the handle off or screw it off?

Hi Rose, Some prying will be involve with removing the control knob, removal and replacing instructions can be found on page 6 of the Hayward Chlorinator Manual.

I have an older Hayward Chlorinator. These guys broke down the parts in a diagram, that made it clear what I needed. Fast shipment and no need to wander all over town, and still not find what I needed. This has been a rough summer for pool maintenance, but INYO has made it a lot easier. I am a customer now for sure.
