The eye seal can vary in size and is dependent on the pump model, horse power and service factor.

Which direction is the correct installed direction for this seal? Is the larger diameter "end" suppose to face the diffuser or the impeller?

Hi Perry, No, you cannot run the pump without the eye seal. If you do you will damage the impeller and or the motor.

Will this seal fit a inno-tech s7j and F569000? Is the eye seal suposto seat tightly against the impeler inlet shaft, becouse both of my pumps have at least 1/16 of an inch of space on all sides between the impeler inlet and eye seal, also culd this be the reson the jets barly put out any presure?

Hi, Brian. This Eye Seal will fit the S7J and F569000 Pumps. The Eye Seal should fit snug onto the impeller, a loose fit eye seal will not cause low water flow. You may want to check your filter to make sure it's cleaned.
