How do you remove the old dome assembly? Does it just unscrew or do you need a special tool to unsrew it?

Product was a perfect fit even though the filter was old, this saved the day old plug and o-ring on the top fit right in the new part and it went on nice and smooth

Great product, very easy to install. Only website that showed detailed diagram of the entire sand filter.
