Alicia- The THD is designating that one of the ends of this cartridge is threaded and the 17b1170 would be the MFG part number.

I am looking for filter cartridges for a baker hydro hrc300. We have been told that this is a sand filter and that it is physically impossible to put cartridges in one. I will tell you that there are in fact cartridges in this filter. We have looked everywhere and have consulted with several pool supply companies and have not been able to find the specific filters we need. Can you please HELP?!

Hi Autumn, Could you send us some photos of your filter? Also are there any part #'s embossed into the plastic end caps of your cartridges? Also could you email us the length, inside diameter and outside diameter of your cartridges?

The filters that we are trying to replace are (3) filters measuring 6 1/4" diam. x 31" long ea. with 2" open end connections top and bottom. This does not match the details furnished by INYO Pools for replacement filters for Baker Hyro HRC 400 Tri-Flo Series Cartridge Filter System. Am I correct on this? Also, are there "stackable" filters to possibly match these dimensions?

Hi. All of the Baker Hydro parts diagrams lists this Cartridge - 17B1170 as the replacement for the Baker Hydro HRC 400 model. Please provide pictures of your filter model and or the Part # on your cartridges so that we can locate the correct replacement.
