I have had the snap rings break and sometimes they are hard to find locally at the hardware store. This replacement kit is ideal for what I need. These are more heavy-duty than the ones I have found locally.

Cons: costly
We purchased this hoping it would help our leak. We have had a leak in our filter for months. We thought we needed to purchase a whole new filter. After doing some research we saw we can replace parts. We tried getting these and the day they got here my husband installed them and now we have no more leak. Great parts**
