Dosage: 1 quart per 15,000 gallons
Maintenance dosage: 6-8 ounces per 15,000 gallons weekly
NOTE: If you are doing a scale treatment, the Magenta Stuff should be used in conjunction with Stain Solution #2. The Magenta Stuff CANNOT be tested with a Sequest Test Kit.
I've heard that muriatic acid can be used to remove scale from pool walls and floors. In what way is the acid applied?

If you have not used this method before, I wouldn't recommend doing so. If the procedure isn't done properly, the acid can "pit" the surface of the pool.
