I need parts for my filter valve. When I look at the filter parts breakdown, it gives me different choices. How do I know which one is the one I need?

In order to locate the correct parts we will need to know the model number of the filter valve. Two identical filters can have two different valves. Typically the valve model will be located on the label of the valve. If there is no model number on the valve, you can try to see if there are any part numbers on the valve itself. Once you've located you valve model you can check out our >Filter Valve Parts.

please tell me, are the two connections which go to the DE filter adjustable when the valve is purchesed or are they fixed? my anthony filter has an 8 inch center to center distance but nowhere do i see distances specified.

Hello Joe - The plumbing connections cannot be changed on the 261152 valve. You may want to checkout valve model 4702P. This is a complete valve body without the plumbing connections. You can plumb this valve to match your Anthony filter.

I have a Pac Fab Model MS-20-2 Serial number 2916 5112 multi port value that has failed. It is used on a Nautilus NS-60 DE filter. Is this value plug and play for the old value, and/or do you recommend getting a new filter at the same time?

Mr. Arnold, If you're planning to replace the entire filtration system, then it will be netter to do it at the same time. In the meanwhile you can replace your multiport valve with this one and it can also be used on the newer Pentair D.E. Filters.

Is the input and output connections from the pool threaded or glued on the 261152 valve? I don't seem to be able to find a picture anywhere. Thanks

I found a picture from one of our vendors that does show it is threaded  inside. If you click on the model number - 261152 - it will take you to their site. Their picture blows up better than most I found.

Which port is which? The two ports that attach to the filter are obvious, but I can't see if the others are labeled. Which is the in (from pump) port? Which is the out (to pool)? And which is the backwash/drain port? I'm guessing backwash is the one by itself and on the two port side the inlet is the top, outlet is the bottom to match filter ports? Thanks

Hi Chris, All of the ports on the 2" Multiport Valve Threaded for D.E are labeled so that installation is done correctly. The port on the right on the opposite side will labeled "pump", the "return" port will be back to the pool and "waste" would be backwash.

I was getting DE Powder in my pool.

My multi-valve was 15 years old. Changed the spider gasket years ago. Didnt want to do that again. Purchased a new multi-port valve. Used the do it yourself guides and forums on Inyopool.com to install it. Had to change out the PVC pipes to and from the valve. Took a couple of hours but wasn't too bad.
