I have the easy clean system by pentair. And have a problem with the dm90 de filter. The otter plastic rigs beark and that appears to let some de back into the pool. This is my third year with this system and a new filter last year which now has one of the 4 plastic bands broken. My question is cand I get a non de cartridge filter to fit my system? I can't keep putting out 121.00 each year from a new de filter. Thank you in advace

John, If you have the EasyClean Cartridge Element, 90 GPM you can replace it with the Pentair Clean & Clear 150 Sq Ft OEM Cartridge if you no longer want to use D.E.

I have a pentair easy clean inground ec90 de 1 1/2 hp. I need to replace the cartridge which I believe is 178656, the high flow manual 98209800 and the body o'ring 87300400.
I have attached a photo of my filter.

I don't think this cartridge is right as the top of my cartridge is over 10" in diameter.
