Product Description

This Air Switch provides wireless control for loads requiring only one circuit. A push button connected to the control box, with a flexible air hose, enables the user to operate a pump, light, heater or blower up to 100 feet away. This air switch can also turn a single speed pump ON and OFF or operate between high speed and low speed of a two-speed pump. An external timer can be added for automatic filter pump operation. The air button and air hose are not included and must be ordered separately

*Intermatic Air Controls are a 3 Part System which require the following 3 items:

  • Air control - The Air control is the heart of the system and is usually placed near the pool equipment. The Air Control can be purchased in several models, a single circuit air control (RC2133P) will control a pump, light, heater or blower up to 100 feet away. This air switch can also turn a single speed pump ON and OFF or operate between high speed and low speed of a two-speed pump. The two circuit air control (RC2233P) allows for two push buttons to be connected to the control box, with two flexible air hoses, enables the user to operate two pieces of equipment up to 100 feet away. The two circuit air control (RC2343PT) is also available with a 24 hour multiple program timer that turns a filter pump ON/OFF several times per day.
  • Air Button - The air button is placed at the side of the pool, spa or hot tub. Each time pressure is applied to the remote air button the connected equipment will operate. The operation, however, can be stopped any time during the cycle by simply pressing the air button.

  • Tubing - Tubing is run from the air button to the air control. When the air button is pushed a blast of air travels through the tubing and engages the air control.

The air button and air hose are not included and must be ordered separately

I am replacing an Intermatic RC2301PT, which I can't find. Assuming the 2301 is discontinued, is the RC2343PT the right replacement timer?

Yes the RC2343PT would be the direct replacement for the RC2301PT.

The timer of my RC2343PT stops working. May I replace just the timer. Do you sell just the replacement timer?

Yes we do sell timer replacement for the RC2343PT the timer is available in a digital version (PB313EK) or a mechanical version (PB913N66) You may view or purchase the digital model here http://www.inyopools.com/Products/02400004034198.htm and the mechanical model here http://www.inyopools.com/Products/02400001004523.htm We also carry the complete internal mechanism of the RC2343PT which is the entire unit minus the box, so you would unsnap your current mechanism and replace with the new internal mechanism, this part only comes with a digital timer and can viewed or purchased here http://www.inyopools.com/Products/02400004038360.htm

I have a model RC2301PT, It appears that the timer mechanism is faulty. It stopped keeping time and won't trip the on/off circuit. Is this component available?

We spoke with our Intermatic rep. and he stated the replacement timer mechanism for the  RC2301PT is the PB913N66 ($44.99) here >http://www.inyopools.com/Products/02400001004523.htm our rep. stated that the original timer mechanism came with wire leads and the new replacement does not so you would have to add your own wire leads to this part. Due to how old the RC2301PT is Intermatic suggested replacing the entire unit with the RC2343PT

I have a Intermatic model RC2403RT which is not working properly. Is the RC2403RT model still available?

Hello Al - The Intermatic RC2403RT is no longer available. The RC2403RT was a four function and a single function in one box. The replacement would require two separate pieces. The first is model number RC2343PT and the second is RC2103S.

I am replacing a RC2491RT air timer What would be the replacement ???? possibly the RC2343PT ??????

Hi Peter, I was unable to locate any info on model no. RC2491RT, I would recommend comparing the spec that we have listed on the RC2343PT to see if it will work as a replacement.

Old Cal Spa 1986 Control Timer Stopped Working

Removed the old Cal Spa 1986 Control Timer and replaced with the new Intermatic RC2000 Series Air Actuated SPA Controls. Four Function Air Switch with Timer Model RC2343PT - Plastic Outdoor Enclosure Suitable For Pool/SPA Equipment Control. Ratings: 20 AMP (R), 1 HP, 120 Volt, 60 HZ, 20 AMP (R), 2 HP, 240 Volt, 60 HZ. The Wiring Diagrams for 120V or 240V were very easy to follow. Green (Ground), White (Neutral or Common), Black (Hot) and so on.
