Product Description

PURELINE DENALI ABOVE GROUND POOL COVERS
The PureLine Denali Series is our entry level cover and has the strength and durability of covers costing twice as much. Rugged polyethylene scrim and coating means this cover can withstand winter's worst. PureLine covers are U.V. protected so they will last for years in direct sunlight. The cover's black underside retards algae growth and heat sealed seams means a crystal clear pool next spring.

The Denali cover is held secure on your pool with a heavy duty vinyl coated cable and tightener that is anchored by rip proof metal grommets. This cover is backed by an 8 year warranty (1 year full rated) and is navy blue with a black underside.

STRONG, LONG-LASTING WOVEN STRANDS
The strength of a winter cover determined by the weight, or "denier", of the individual stands. PureLine strands are 50% stronger than the competition.

NO MORE ALGAE GROWTH!
PureLine covers are constructed of an extremely tight weave fabric that does not allow light to pass through. Without sunlight, algae cannot grow!

We have a 20' round above ground pool which size is better a 21' or 24' I want to make sure there is overlap for when I need to add the air pillows for the winter. The cover that came with it barely covers the pool and just goes over the top metal rail so the first sign of wind it comes off into the pool and I have tried tightening it with the drawstring but it just tears. I want a larger stronger cover. Also how does this stay on the pool is there a metal cable system or just the drawstring.

Yes you can use a 21' round above ground pool winter cover as It comes with a 4' overlap.  All of our above ground pool winter covers come with a metal cable and winch system. Our customers have been very happy with the durability of these covers. You could also always upgrade to our heavier duty 20 Year winter cover. You may also consider our winter cover seal for high wind conditions. Thanks for the great question!

I recently purchased a home that has an above ground pool. The pool is surrounded by a wooden deck. What is a good way to cover the pool for the winter?

It sounds like you will need to use a combination of an above ground pool cover and water tubes. Make certain that the water level isn't lowered more than 12" during the closing process.

Would there be any incompatibility issues with using this cover with an above ground pool that is not steel frame?

HI Denise, The Pool Winter Cover can also be used on pools that are not steel frame.

Putting cover on pool

First you pull cover over pool and allow the slack to hang into pool and float on the water. Next you thread the cable through the eyelets on cover and tighten with the supplied ratchet.

the pool cover we had on the pool was weeping water thru it so we were losing water out of the pool.

Ordered a new cover from INYO poos.com. Cover came and n 1/6/16 we uncovered the pool and recovered. Unfortunately, the cable that came with the cover was about 2 feet too short for the cover we purchased. We pulled the cable out of the old cover and used it in the new cover so we could re-cover the pool. I was upset the cable was the wrong size and glad we did not cut the old cable
