i have a old aqua cal heat pump and it never did the job of warming the pool water in a reasonable amount of time. Also had many break downs on it as to now its been disconnected for some years now.
My pool guy just suggested the SQ166R for a heater. We have a 30,000 gallon pool that is in the shade most of the day.

Hi! What is the best way to find a plumber and electrician to install a heat pump? Also on the AquCal heat/cool pumps will it void the warranty if anyone other than an authorized distributor installs it?

You can locate a CPC(certified pool contractor) in your are online and these heat pump manufacturers do advise these units are installed by a qualified technician or the warranty may be voided if there is ever an issue with the unit.
