how long dose the 40,000 cell last before i has to be replaced

If you have the Crytal Pure PL7700 then that cell has a 7,000-hour cell life and this PL7710 replacement cell is the 7,000 hour cell. If you have the PL7707 Crystal Pure Heavy Duty then that system has a 10,000-hour cell life.

Hello. I purchased the PTSS-66120 - Pool Salt System 40,000 Gallons in 3/16, installed 4/16. Recently my cell has started to registered incorrectly (lower) ranges for actual salt resulting in zero production. Will this replacement cell fit the old system and panel?

Hi, Forrest. Unfortunately, this cell is not compatible with the PTSS-66120 model.

Hi. I have a Hayward T-CELL-15 salt water chlorinator module. Is the Crystal Pure 3.0 a drop in replacement? Is it the same dimensions and thread?

Hi HK, If you are looking to replace the salt cell on your Hayward AquaRite T-CELL-15 then you will require the PL7106 PureLine AquaRite Replacement Salt Cell has the same dimensions and threads.

Can you use a bigger replacement cell than what the system originally came with, in order to reduce duty cycle time or increase longevity?

Hi Ernesto, I suggest checking back with us around February/March as that is when we typically have this inventory replenished. If they are not in by then you may want to consider replacing the system. Here are some salt chlorine generator systems.
