Will this light synchronize with the spa light by pureline , so they both will operate in the same mode or color using the remote , and I see 4 buttons on the remote , are they preset or can you change them
Reply
Hi Jeff, No the Remote control version of this bulb will not synchronize with multiple bulbs even if you get another remote control version of the bulb. If you would like to synchronize the bulbs you will need to get the "Switched" version of the bulbs, this means that the bulb(s) would be wired to a single standard light switch and you use the light switch to turn the bulbs on and off and cycle through color shows. When wiring the bulbs to the same switch then they do synchronize together, most pool lights & spa light are already set up to a switch so this just means replacing the bulb. Here is the Pureline Prime 12V Switched LED Pool Bulb and here is the Pureline Prime 12V Switched LED Spa Bulb.

Can the bulbs be programmed to return to single color (white, for example) each time they are powered up or do they default to multi-color each time? If not, do you have single color versions?

Hi Ross, If you get the PL5809 LED Bulb with Light Switch Controlled then it does have memory, meaning that if you have the light set on white and you turn the light off for more than 10 seconds then the next time you turn the light on it will remember to start on white. For the PL5819 if you turn this bulb on and off with the RF remote then it does remember the last setting the bulb was on but if you use the light switch to turn the bulb on and off then it does have memory when using the light switch. We do also have a PureColors LED White Light Only Bulb 120V Light Switch Controlled (No Remote).

how to tell which Hayward light I have
Reply
Hello, When you pull the light out from the pool niche, you will see a part/model number located on the back of the light. We can cross reference those on our website to see what type of light you have. If you are not sure how to do this we have a "how to" video.

Can you please tell me if the PL5819 pool bulb 120v 35w will fit a Jandy DuraNiche SP0607U. I would like to buy one of these for my pool which is only 3 years old but not sure if it will fit.
Thanks, Ed Haas

Hello Ed- The PL5819 is just a light bulb and the part number you provided, sp0607U, is for a hayward niche. Do you know the model of your light?

What are the dimensions of the pureline PL5819 led bulb?

Hello Ron- The dimensions for the LED Pool Bulb Color Changing 120V 35W W/ Remote Control PL5819 is 6.625 in diameter by 5.625 in length.

I pulled my light housing out to get specifics on the light to see if this bulb would work. The existing light is a pentair and the can has a UL sticker on the back which says "No. V-380334" There is also another sticker which indicates a bulb type as R-40, 120 volts and 500 watts. Above that information it has Series 784XXXXX, 788XXXXX and 789XXXXX. Will this work with this bulb?

Hi Jeff, Thanks for your light information that really helps. Yes the PL5819 will work with your light housing.

I would like to swap out my halogen bulb for a color changing LED. Our pool light fixture is old and I cannot find any model numbers. The chrome cover says "SUNLITE", and the bulb that it currently installed is a FEIT 120v 250w E11. Will any of your bulbs fit? If you need more info, I can pull the light out and get some measurements or send you some pictures.

A great replacement would be the Spa Astrolite paired with one of our LED color changing spa bulbs. Do you have 12v or 120V and what is the length on cord you need.

What is the difference between the SP058 and the SP0540 lights, All I know is we have a Hayward light in are pool in Florida. So I am not sure which type of LED light I would need.
Reply
Hi John, the only difference is the depth of the housing. The SP0540 is a little shallower meaning the bulb will not fit the SP0540 fixture. The best bet is to pull your light out of the niche in the wall all of your pool and then read the label off of the fixture of the light, this should give you your model information. You can also send us a photo of your light to upload@inyopools.com

I'm replacing a FEIT 500W/130F bulb in a 30,000 sq ft roman shaped pool. Will this LED Pool Bulb Color Changing 120V/35W w/ Remote Control be a suitable replacement?
Reply
Yes, the 35W LED is going to be equivalent to a 500W incandescent bulb.

I have a Pentair white light P/N#79206700 500w light and looking for a color changing light. What will be compatible?

We would actually need the specific model number of the light and or all of the specifications on it. This part number is just the niche so wouldn't be enough information to cross reference for you.

My pool light fixture is so old I am unable to determine what kind it is. I just replaced the bulb with a FEIT Electric 500w 130v R40 Flood Reflector bulb & it works fine. I also replaced the lens gasket with a Leslie's brand 64500 which says it's for an American/SAM/SAL & Pentair 791016 fixture. Will the LED Pool Bulb Color Changing 120V 35W W/ Remote Control work in my fixture? If so, must I change the gasket again when I replace the bulb? If so, do you sell this gasket? Thanks.

Hi Pete, Based on the Feit bulb and the gasket, I'm pretty sure you have an Amerilite and the PL5819 PureColors LED bulb will work in your light fixture. Yes you would need to replace the PL5851 Pentair/American Products Lens Gasket

Can these bulbs be used with a dimmer control?

Hi Amigorick, No this PureColors LED Pool Bulb cannot be used with a dimmer control and I'm unaware of a pool led bulb that can be used with a dimmer.

What are the measurements of this bulb?

Please view the bulb's page here and you will see that directly under the main image of the bulb there is a small rectangle for the "size". Please click on that and all the bulb dimensions will be displayed in larger main image box.

My existing light fixture is a Hayward SP-583L/500W/120V/R40 bulb. Will the PL5819 fit? What about the PL5835?
The 120v electrical line will not budge and I need to leave that line in place (can't pull 12v line). I don't believe I have any other LED options. Please advise...Thanks
Reply
Yes either the PL5819 or PL5835 would work for a Hayward SP583L Light. The PL5819 would be the bulb only where the PL5835 would be the complete light fixture and bulb.
Reply
Is this compatible with the Hayward SP-583-SL?
Reply
Yes, your model cross references as a Hayward Astrolite which is a compatible model for these bulbs. Please just double check the voltage on your current bulb to make sure that it is 120 volts.

What is the size of this bulb in comparison with the 120V, 18 W?
I need diameter and total length! Is it longer than the 18Watts bulb?
Have to check before I buy it and if it fits, I like more the more powerful one.

The 35W and the 18W have the same dimensions, the 35W just has more LED diodes on the bulb.
