Is this generic replacement cell plug and play? Any special adapter or plug fitting required to use this?

Keith, The Zodiac/Clearwater LM3-24 Generic Salt Cell will fit into your current housing with no additional adapter or fittings needed. I would recommend replacing the LM3 Cell O-ring, most of the time that can become stretch or worn.

I have the LM3 Chlorinator. I want to clean the plates; but I'm having an extremely difficult time getting the plug off. I have the manual & I can follow directions pretty good. But I don't want to break anything. Any suggestions? This particular unit is just over five years running. So, it's probably getting close to replacement time!
The blue cap unscrews easily enough. But the output plug & locking ring seem very tight! Thanks in advance!

Hi Skipper, You can replace the entire cell electrode and cable since it's getting old if you're unable to remove the cable plugs from the cell. You can try applying a little more force to get the plug off, it just might have a little corrosion build up.

If it does not fit can I return it for a full refund?

Hi. Yes, it can as long as the unit is still in new or unused condition. Please review our complete Return Policy.

Do you sell the complete Zodiac LM3-24 system and what is the cost?
Thanks,

Hi Terry, I'm sorry we don't carry the complete Zodiac LM3-24 salt system as it was discontinued by the manufacturer. We suggest the PureLine Crystal Pure PL7700 Salt System as a replacement.
