Need to replace multi port valve for Sta-rite T-240BP.
The replacement you have, does it fit the old sand tank?
The photo of your replacement doesn't show outside threads to re attach the intake and return lines. Are the threads now on the inside?
Also does the replacement you have, have a screw to let out the air for priming?
Reply
That 4600-1186 would be the correct valve but it is different from the original. There are no outside threads any longer so the valve must be plumbed with male adapters instead of unions and the ports are a little different. This is the correct valve though. There is no air relieve on this valve but there was none on the original either.

Is part number 261186 (4600-1186) the correct replacement valve for the Aqua Tools AT3120 sand filter?
Reply
Yes, part number 261186 (4600-1186) is the correct valve for the Aqua Tools AT3120 sand filter. This will also work on the Aqua Tools models AT3115, AT3118, and AT3124. There will be some plumbing required to make this valve work because the ports are not in the same exact spots as the WC112-148A valve.

Hi Victor, The 1-1/2" Top Mt. Clamp Style Valve (261186) will be the correct replacement valve, I would also recommend replacing the Tank/Valve Flange O-ring (U9-369).

Just to make 100% sure this does replace the AT3125 model? Mine just broke off and I want to make sure I'm not wasting my time...I need it asap!! And do I need anything else to go with this or is it that simple to just replace??
Reply
There is no actual AT3125 but there is the AT3124 if that is what you are referring to. If so then yes this is the correct valve as long as you have 1.5 inch plumbing going into it. The o ring is included so nothing else will be needed.
Reply
I have the Model T-240BP-1 and I need a O-Ring on the wc112-148A. The part # IS 35505-1228. Do you have something that will work?

Hi Steve, The Diverter O-ring (216) will be the correct replacement o-ring for p/n 35505-1228.

I have a AT3118 sand filter.
my valve is leaking after I backwash,& rinse. Keeps leaking out the waste outlet.
Would this vale fix my problem.
Or what would recommend for a replacement of a comparable filter tank & valve ?
Reply
Hi Ryland, this would be the replacement valve we would suggest for the AquaTools AT3118 sand filter and would fix the issues you are having. Please note that the the original valve on the AT3118 was a WC112-148 which was discontinued. This valve is the replacement for the WC112-148 valve however the plumbing port locations are in a different spot so there may be some minor re-plumbing.

What is the correct replacement part for the Sta-rite model T-150BP-1 valve?
Reply
This valve here 261186 is the correct replacement valve for the Sta-rite Cristal-Flo model T-150BP-1. The original valve that came with your filter is a WC112-148A which was discontinued, this valve does work as a replacement for that valve but the plumbing ports are in a different location so if you are using rigid pvc pipe you will have some re-plumbing. If you are using flexible pvc pipe then this should be easier.

I have a sta-rite filter and need to replace the valve assembly and the part # I have is 14965-0031 which is a top mount clamp style. Would your valve # 261186 be a replacement for my needs. The model filter is BHR 170. Hope you can help me, Thanks

I have the sta-rite t-210wf and having a leak out of the back drain part. do I need new O-rings replaced? and if so, which ones and what item numbers?
Thanks

Hi Freddy, You will need to replace the gaskets however, we will need to know the exact model of the valve that you have in order to get the correct seals. Or you also have the option of replacing the entire valve which this 261186 will act as a replacement.

I just purchased a 30 diameter used pool using a Sta-Rite T180WF sand filter. The lower portion of the valve body has broken off where it clamps to filter. Is a replacement for the lower portion of the valve available? Or is buying the complete 261186 my only option, if that is the compatible valve body?
Is an owner's manual available which would provide assembly instructions?
Reply
Hi Mr.Bill, Unfortunately there is not just the lower assembly to your valve. Good news is that the complete 261186 valve will work on your T-180WF filter, please note that Sta-Rite did make a few changes from the original valve so some re-plumbing may be necessary. I'm sorry we don't have a manual on this valve, but if after you order the valve you have any questions about the install then feel free to call or email us for assistance with the installation.

this is not the original head, why is it different?

Hi. Correct, this is not the OEM valve. This is an aftermarket replacement because the manufacturer no longer makes the original valve.

Hi, Rick. This valve resembles a few other valves that we carry. If you can provide us with the model # of your tank we can confirm if this valve will fit your tank.

The product description says the clamp and valve are included with this. What other parts do I need?
Reply
Lisa, Aside from the clamp valve, clamp and o-ring, you will need pvc fitting, pvc and glue to replumb the system.

We have a AquaTools AT3118 that needs a new interior gasket in the multiplex valve. Can we just buy the gasket and o-ring?

Hi, Laura. In order to locate the correct gasket and or o-ring, we will need to know the model of the actual valve that is currently on the filter.

What supplies do I need for plumbing when replacing sta rite t-210wf with 261186?
Reply
Hi, Brenda. You will need pvc adapters and or hose adapter depending on what type of water connections you're using.

What do all the settings on top do
Reply
Hi, John. The valve positions and their functions are as follows, 1. FILTER — Normal position during operation of the system. 2. BACKWASH — Position when operating the system to purge filter of accumulated debris. 3. RINSE — This position is only used with sand filters and is designed to flush stray sand from the system before returning to filter operation after backwashing. 4. CLOSED — Valve may be set in closed position when servicing filter tanks located below water level. 5. RECIRCULATE — This position permits pump to continue recirculating water (chemicals, heat, etc.) without flow through the filter. 6. WASTE — This position permits draining or lowering of pool water level.
