Hello, I need a replacement motor an for my Hayward pool heater model HP ABG.
The one installed now is a 1/3 hp, 1075 rpm and his very noisy.
Is 1075rpm is the good revolution??
550 rpm will work?
Thanks

I am looking to replace the fan motor on Hayward HP2100. The current motor has 5 wires including ground and appears to be rated at 1/2hp. Heat pump is circa 2004/2005. I'm having difficulty finding out which is the correct motor for the unit. Note that the wiring diagram in the manual and behind the cover for electrical connections show only 4 wires (3 leads plus ground) but the current motor does have 5.
Please advise on correct replacement. Photo of current motor is attached. Thank you.
We think the original part # form Hayward was HPX2206 which we can no longer reference. All other HP2100 fan motors are listed as a 1/3hp, with 3 wires plus a ground. You may need to contact Hayward direct as we are not able to source a correct diagram.
