My Maytronics pool cleaner only says Dolphin Premiere. Having a hard time figuring which filter kit is for me. I need the whole unit, including the 4 filters. Any help you can offer, or tell me where I should be looking on the machine for more information, woulf be much appreciated! TY, tiffany

Hello Tiffany, according to the parts list on this unit Maytronics Dolphin Premier there is number 22 DX6 BOTTOM LID CARTRIDGE ASSEMBLY & 4 FILTERS, 5-7/8" TALL (9991414-ASSY) or just filters number 29 SPRING FILTER SCREEN, SET OF 4 - 3295-495.

I have a DX3 and a friend let me use his cartridge setup on his DX3S and I let him is my bag setup. He noticed a substantial loss in movement speed and I noticed a great increase so I'd like to convert from the bag filter to the cartridge filter. What do I need to order?

I have the bag filter on my Maytronics DX-4. Will the unit function better with the filter cartridges? Are the cartriges easy to clean? How long do filters last? Trying to decide if I should switch.

Hi, Eric. Using the cartridge assembly will allow the cleaner to pick up smaller particles keeping the pool clean. The cartridges are easier to clean and can last 6 months to 1 year depending on use.

I am thinking about buying this product. I live on a wooded lot, so my pool gets lots of leaves in it. I know this product does well with fine particles but how does it do on picking up larger debris in the pool?

Just bought house with pool and the dx3 is not picking up debris - just goes right through the fan on top of machine. We noticed the bag doesn’t fit etc. It looks like we need new parts which I’ve put in my cart but do I or am I missing the cartridge assembly with the 4 filters.
Hi Kelly-Anne, The cartridges are not mandatory. I have the same cleaner on my pool and I use the bag at the beginning of the season to pick up the large debris and then switch the cartridges during the season to pick up fine debris but if you just want to use the bag that is fine as well.
